About the ICT Department

The ICT Department plays a strategic role in supporting the Ministry’s mandate through the coordination, deployment and management of digital systems and technological infrastructure.The department ensures that ICT is effectively leveraged to enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, strengthen communication and support data-driven decision making across the Ministry and Local Authorities.

In addition, the department provides oversight and coordination of the digitization of the Local Government Sector by guiding the rollout and implementation of digital systems across Local Authorities in Zambia
