Dr. Ngoza has extensive experience, having worked for over 26 years, in various capacities ranging from supporting the procurement and logistics of refugee programs with an international NGO, to offering various policy guidance in economic and governance policies in the Government, with 15 years at senior leadership positions in various Government Ministries and Departments.
Her expertise includes Project planning, appraisal, and management (From inception to project close out), Economic policy development and management, public policy analysis, planning and budgeting, Public Private Partnership structuring, quantitative and qualitative analysis. She also has expertise in drafting Terms of Reference, contracting and supervision of consultants as a Project Coordinator. She currently works as the Director-Planning and Information in the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, supporting policy development and implementation. She enjoys travelling, reading, and values her quite time.
The role of the Department of Planning and Information is to coordinate planning, budgeting, inter-department programmes and projects in order to ensure their effective implementation. It will also coordinate the formulation and review of relevant policies and legislation in order to provide appropriate guidance as well as coordinate the budgeting process in the Ministry. It is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective Information System on the programmes of the Ministry and Local Authorities in order to facilitate informed decision-making.
