GOVERNMENT MOURNS THE LOSS OF SENIOR CHIEF KAMBOMBO

Chama, Eastern Province – The Government is saddened by the passing of Senior Chief Kambombo, Zamangwe XIX.
The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. Gary Nkombo, MP, extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of  President Hakainde Hichilema, to the royal family, the entire community, and all those mourning the loss.
Chief Kambombo’s leadership had a profound impact on his people, marked by his tireless dedication to socio-economic development and well being. “His unwavering commitment to preserving cultural heritage, promoting peace, and fostering unity will be remembered for generations to come,” Hon. Nkombo said.
The Minister acknowledged the fruitful partnership between the government and Senior Chief Kambombo, highlighting their collaborative efforts in promoting National development, preserving customs and traditions, and ensuring prosperity for all Zambians.
As the nation mourns the loss of this revered traditional leader, the government reaffirms its commitment to honoring his legacy by continuing to work towards the progress and prosperity of the Zambian people, guided by the principles of peace, respect, and unity.
The Minister offered sincerest sympathies to the family, acknowledging their profound grief and assuring them that they are not alone in their sorrow.
