We were truly delighted and honored to serve as the Guest of Honour at the 2024 Chakwela Makumbi Traditional Ceremony of the Soli-speaking people of Chongwe District in Lusaka Province.
This ceremony, deeply rooted in history, is observed as a prayer to God Almighty for rain, fertile soil, and a bountiful harvest.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Her Royal Highness, Dr. Senior Chieftainess Nkomeshya Mukamambo II, an exemplary leader who has reigned in the Chiefdom with distinction for 53 years, for graciously inviting us to officiate at this vibrant celebration that proudly showcases the richness of our cultural heritage.
We were equally pleased by the attendance of several Royal Highnesses from across the country. Such gatherings provide a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas among traditional leaders and foster unity across the nation.
We also had the privilege of officially handing over a newly built palace to Her Royal Highness. Our commitment to constructing dignified residences for all Royal Highnesses remains steadfast, ensuring they are honored with homes befitting their status and service to their communities.
