CHOLERA FIGHT IN NEW BOOST

 Trade Kings donate drums for water storage/waste disposal drums to New Soweto Market
Traders and customers alike plying their trade and purchasing goods from the recently refurbished New Soweto Market received a boost and now have more waste diposal receptacles and access to clean water for handwashing at a time the Cholera pandemic hovers upon Zambia with Lusaka being the epicentre.
This comes in the wake of Trade Kings Limited’s gesture to donate fifty(50), 210 litres drums to the facility for purposes of water storage and garbage disposal.
In welcoming the gesture, LUSAKA Province Minister, Sheal Mulyata, who has wedged a relentless war against the fatal waterborne disease in Lusaka thanked the firm for prioritizing the welfare of the people of New Soweto Market.
She also expressed happiness at the market management’s continued maintenance of high standards of hygiene at one of the country’s major trading facilities.
After the official handover of the drums, the Provincial Minister, Hon Mulyata, in the company of Trade Kings Public Relations Manager, Bridget Kambobe and New Soweto Market management staff took a tour of ZAMBIA’S largest closed trading facility, City Market.
Whilst there, the team which was led by City Market Manager, Robinson Kambeu, inspected the facility’s ablution block.
After the inspection of the toilets, the team took time to interact and educate the traders on the importance of adhering to hygiene practices, with the major emphasis on Cholera preventive measures. Below are some photos from the event…….
