Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development continued with Independence week commemorations at Chainama Correctional Facility.

The Ministry lead by the Permanent Secretary-Administration, Mr. Maambo Haamaundu cleaned the premises and the wards and donated assorted items to the facility.

The permanent Secretary highlighted that the Government firmly believes that development should reach everyone regardless of where they live , their background or their circumstances.
