Luapula Province Permanent Secretary Mrs. Prudence Chinama Kangwa, has handed over 39 motorbikes to Chiefs’ retainers, drawn from various Chiefdoms in Luapula Province, today, 19th August, 2025. The handover ceremony was held at Sali Lodge in Mansa District after the provincial Chiefs’ consultative meeting with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, discussing various issues of development in the Province.
The motorbikes, recently procured using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), would empower traditional authorities in mobility as well as improving the efficiency of local governance.
