The Republican President, Mr Hakainde Hichilema, has eulogised the late Local Government Service Commission Chairperson, and former Cabinet Minister in the MMD administration, Honourable Ackson Sejani, as a purposeful individual, known for his strong action in spearheading national development.
The Head of State was speaking during the funeral Church Service of the late Honourable Sejani at the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Lusaka this morning, attended by the Speaker of the National Assemby, Cabinet Ministers, Government officials, Civic and political leaders, among other people from all walks of life.
President Hichilema stated that Honourable Sejani would be remembered as a man of his words, who was meticulous in his actions, and had a strong passion to develop the Nation.
The President implored the young generation to emulate Hon. Sejani’s firm commitment to the principles of One Zambia, One Nation.
Hon. Sejani, aged ,67, passed away at Netcare Garden City Hospital in South Africa on 28th July, 2025, and he qas put to rest at Leopard’s Hill Memorial Park in Lusaka, today, 5th August, 2025.
President Hichilema, had accorded the Late Commission Chairperson an official funeral in honor of his diligent service to the Country.
